8 Topics Grandparents Discuss While on a European Tour
This fall, my husband John and I joined 44 other people, retirees from all over the world, on a European tour. We traveled to Spain and Portugal – and even took a quick jaunt to Morocco. This was the first time we had taken a bus tour, and I have to admit I was a little apprehensive.
Operation Cheetos
Our youngest grandchild and only grandson was asked to participate in a contest/skit during his high school pep rally. Seeing pictures of the event made me smile. I’ve discovered that if I patrol at least twice a week, I can keep on top of the task—heaven forbid we go on a two-week vacation.
When Spring Hasn’t Sprung
There’s spring in Nebraska, and then there’s SPRING in Nebraska. I’ve lived in this great state all my life, but for some reason this year’s cool temperatures have been challenging for me.
Seeing “Kinky Boots” with My Granddaughter
Last month, I had the opportunity to attend a touring Broadway performance of Kinky Boots at the Lied Center. I was accompanied by one of my daughters and granddaughters.
